A 1:18 scale model means that the model is 1/18th the size of the real vehicle. In other words, the real car has been shrunk down 18 times to create the model.

So if a real car is 4.5 meters long (450 cm), the 1:18 version will be:

450 cm ÷ 18 = 25 cm

On average, a 1:18 model is around 25-30 cm long, depending on the actual size of the real car.

Why are some 1:18 models bigger or smaller than others?
