Welcome to the HMKT blog

Welcome to the HMKT blog

Modelcar shop located in the Netherlands since 2005.

We are welcoming you to the HMKT blog which is inspired by family and friends. Despite our busy schedule, we are writing to share our humble story.

In this content we will be introducing our company, who we are, where we came from, what do we do, and our purpose.

Who are we?

We are a Dutch company based in the Netherlands which was established in September 2005 by Koos Timmermans and Sander Timmermans. We were originally located in Eindhoven followed by a migration to a two-level spacious building in Bergeijk, where we expanded to one of the biggest model car-shops in the Netherlands.

HMKT stands for Handel Maatschappij Koos Timmermans. We take pride in fair trade by bidding competitive prices to customers when it comes to our products. Our web-shop www.hmkt.nl is available 24/7 wherein we process orders daily. However, our physical shop where you can find collectibles to almost 10,000 selections is only open to customers on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 pm until 4 pm. The good news is, coffee is served during your visit.

What do we do?

We generally offer miniatures of different kinds (Cars, Buses, Figurines, Formula 1, Helicopters, Helmets, Agriculture, Army, Engines, Motorcycles, Movie Memorabilia, Trailers, Trucks, Cranes, and Roadworks), Slotrace cars, RC, Rotary Display, Tin and Enamel plates, Ride-on Cars, Car history books, and Scenery. All of which can be found in our web-shop.

We work together with the top and well-known manufacturers including Autoart, Minichamps, Norev, ACME, GT spirit, GMP, and others to give you the high-quality products you deserve.

We are not only focused on providing services to adult collectors but as well as to give the kids entertainment choices like the Ride-on Cars and RC.

New to model cars? and you wish to purchase for your special ones but still undecided and full of queries? Then don’t hesitate to give us a call: +310497556538 or send us an Email: [email protected]. We would be very glad to guide you.

What is our purpose?

We aim to provide a wide range of collectibles and exclusive models to clients. What do we mean by a wide range? As mentioned earlier in this post, we have stocks in our physical shop to almost 10,000 pieces and along with it, backorders from the manufacturers are possible if you want products that are not available. By exclusive models, these are the limited editions where some kind of collections are produced to as little as 50 pieces worldwide.

It is relative that customers can be meticulous and careful at times when it comes to buying online. For the past 15 years, we were able to improve our services and are still doing so for every chance that we can get. We assess every product before packing it up. We are always transparent and upfront that what you see online is what you get in reality. Be rest assured that we protect the rights of our customers with our terms and conditions and policy on delivery and returns.

we are grateful to our younger self where our passion for model cars began. A passion that turned us to Professional model car retailers that we worked hard for. Through this, we can share the delight and comfort we experienced when collecting model cars.
